Je suis un habitué d'un resort sister, et quand j'ai vu qu'ils ouvraient un nouveau resort avec l'excellent manager, j'ai voulu réserver pour tester.|J'ai passé un semaine mi décembre 2022.|Comme c'est bon d'être aussi bien accueilli par Kent qui répond à toutes vos questions avec un professionnalisme, une gentillesse et une chaleur extraordinaires.|Les chambres sont grandes et décorées avec goût. Le personnel est à vos soins avec toujours la même gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et rafraîchissant (les températures matinales étaient très fraîches à cette période...)|La piscine chauffée à bonne température, le jacuzzi, la végétation et l'ambiance décontractée sont des plus agréables.|Le lunchbox de qualité est un réel plus.|Bref je recommande fortement ce délicieux endroit!

Excellentes prestations, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien aménagées. Le déjeuner livré sur place est une très bonne idée et et très bon. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec notamment un yaourt-fruit-céréales bien préparé et des muffins frais…même le croissant est bon (pour une croissant prépare aux US). La piscine est de taille modeste mais bien orientée, les matelas sont très confortables et en nombre suffisants. Le personnel est à la foi discret et attentionné. Une belle adresse.

Les chambres sont grandes et décorées avec goût. Le personnel est à vos soins avec toujours la même gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et rafraîchissant (les températures matinales étaient très fraîches à cette période...)
La piscine chauffée à bonne température, le jacuzzi, la végétation et l'ambiance décontractée sont des plus agréables.
Le lunchbox de qualité est un réel plus.
Bref je recommande fortement ce délicieux endroit!

Our stay at the Descanso was incredible! It was our first time, and I really didn't know what to expect but I’d heard great things. Something that struck us as we walked into the resort was the beautiful design, how private it felt, and how clean it was. The pool deck and all the grounds were Immaculate and very inviting. Even the pool loungers were premium and so comfortable, it was hard not to nap. Our room was on the second floor and had a beautiful layout with nice bedding and toiletries. A unique feature was a live fiddle fig plant right in our room, a perfect homey touch. It was our anniversary and there was a card along with some treats and a candle waiting for us in our room when we arrived. That was a really nice gesture, and we felt instantly welcomed. One of the things that we liked about the Descanso so much was the fact that we didn't need to think of anything! Everything was provided from a wonderful breakfast, great sandwiches and salads at lunch, and a stocked cantina with soft drinks/coffee. I would also like to add my thanks to Bob in the cantina for his cheery and efficient service every morning. I also loved how he has reusable silicone wraps for the butter and jam, so plastic waste is reduced.||If you need anything there is a way to text the resort (for your lunch order or with any questions/requested. Every time I texted, I got such a swift response and that was really appreciated. We arrived late on Saturday night after the front desk was closed, but directions were sent in advance on how to access the self-service check in along with our welcome packet. All of that worked flawlessly.||This resort is very conveniently located and does offer free parking, though we didn't have a car with us. We were able to walk to a great sushi restaurant called Sandfish which was right around the corner. You can easily walk to downtown in about 30 minutes if it’s not too hot. Otherwise, a very quick Uber/Lyft will get you there in no time. The staff also compiles a list of all the restaurants that they recommend in the area and that they send out in advance and that was very helpful. My only note that might be helpful to some travelers is that when we were at Descanso, it was very quiet and very chill, a perfect place to relax. If you are looking to be more social, while still relaxing, their sister property the Santiago (where we stayed after our three nights at the Descanso) would be a great choice. One other thing, the hot tub was way too hot – my watch said the water was 107 degrees (a couple of different times) and it was just too hot to sit in for most. Friends who stayed after us noted the same thing. Hopefully an easy fix!||Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and I would not hesitate to come back here anytime.||P.S. This is an upscale, clothing optional resort, and you will see people naked. There is no pressure or expectation to be nude, and some guests were not, but if this would bother you, definitely book elsewhere.

I am well traveled. So writing a perfect review for a hotel is very hard for me. But in this case, I believe this hotel was one of my best experiences. The staff is kind and friendly and accommodating and wanting to make sure you’re comfortable. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern And well-maintained. The courtyard/pool area is absolutely lovely and a great environment to relax and enjoy. I really don’t have anything I can say negative about this place. The experience was incredible.

Originally, my husband and I tried to book a room at their sister property, Santiago (we've stayed there before), but they were booked, so we decided to try out Descanso. We are so happy we did! EXCELLENT resort. The rooms are beautiful and include daily housekeeping (so rare nowadays!), great common area where we met the nicest guys from all over the world. The daily breakfast and lunch were great, and finally, I cannot say enough about the incredible team at Descanso.

I love the location. Just a mile up the street from downtown (Palm Springs Canyon Dr), you could walk it if you wanted, or it's a super quick car ride to the best shops and restaurants in Palm Springs.

As I mentioned above, we met the best group of guys who were staying there. In just days we were having dinner and exchanging numbers with our fellow guests. No pretentiousness, just friendly men who were all just enjoying the beautiful resort.

Lastly, the staff was top-notch. Very friendly and inviting. They made us feel right at home immediately.

I can't recommend Descanso enough. There is no doubt we will stay here on my next trip to Palm Springs.

Spacious clean and modern rooms. Friendly, incredible and accommodating staff. Great location. I literally can’t find anything negative to say. And that’s rare for me. 100% chance chances that if I return to Palm Springs that I would book this hotel again. Don’t hesitate.

This is one of the best resorts I have ever been to, I highly recommend it, everything was luxurious, their hospitality and kindness are at very high standards. The place is very quiet and peaceful but it all depends on you! As you want, so will be the atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and if you ask for a recommendation they will give you the best options, The room was super clean and it is very big, there is a lot of space, it really has everything you need, it has breakfast included and also lunch that they bring to your room, the food has a lot of variety and there are options come if you want, I thank Bob who was always at the service of my food, a very kind person, also at the reception you have Charles and Dustin who are very kind and excellent people, I appreciate the gifts they gave me because I went to celebrate my birthday, it is a nice detail on their part, I also have to recharge that it has a large parking lot including parking for people with disabilities, you have an exceptional view inside and outside the Resort, you also have the option of riding bicycles if you want, as well as I recommend a hot tub and the pool which is heated and is very excellent at night.
