After attending one of Jeff’s seminars, my wife and I met with him about 3 years ago. I presented Jeff with the details of my financial situation, including the total amount of income I needed to live my desired lifestyle. I retired in 2011 and by that time had accumulated, in my opinion, quite a nice nest egg. It was nowhere, or even close, to the one million dollars necessary to have a comfortable retirement that I had been hearing was necessary, but felt that it was plenty sufficient to meet my wife’s and my needs. I was very protective of it, so I simply kept it deposited in a conservative money market account at a local credit union.
