I called Arbor Tech and the staff were very warm and responsive. Eric was able to fit me into his schedule the same day. He is exceedingly knowledgeable about trees. It was great to talk with him about the health of all of my trees and the challenges with my citrus. I recommend this company highly.

Eric with Arbor-Tech Consulting has been helping us save a mature Elm Tree that suffered root disruption as the result of demolition/construction. At his initial visit he offered detailed suggestions for care and treatments to help the tree regenerate. He also quickly diagnosed, and treated, the tree for lace bugs. Eric was generous with his time and explanations to make sure that we understood the challenges, and provided realistic commentary on the trees prognosis. It's been about 9 months since first and Eric has checked on the tree every few months to make sure developing as would like/expect. Pleased to share that the Elm tree is now budding and showing signs of new growth. I strongly recommend Eric and Arbor-Tech Consulting because of his expertise, fair prices, and passion.

I had been searching for someone to provide some expertise regarding my stressed Pecan Trees. I contacted Eric and we agreed on a time to meet at my residence. He was prompt, arrived exactly at the time we had agreed upon. Eric examined my trees and provided a detailed diagnoses and treatment plan at a very fair price. He did not attempt to pressure sell any product or service, just described the symptoms and his proposal for treatment. I truly believe he is genuinely concerned for the health of my trees. He also offered some helpful tips concerning my yardwork practices that could be stressing the trees.

Absolutely outstanding customer service from Mr. Putnam, as well as Heather in the office. I was concerned for our newly planted tree after the leaves started to turn brown in places and within an hour of my call, Mr. Putnam was at my door! He spent a considerable amount of time with me discussing tips and general tree care, he even watered it for me so I could see just how much it needed. Thankfully, my tree got a clean bill of health but should I ever need any kind of lawn/garden service in the future, Arbor-Tech will be the first place I call! Mr. Putnam was polite, understanding, incredibly knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend choosing Arbor-Tech. Thank you, again!

I wish I had known about Arbor-Tech Consulting sooner. Unfortunately, I was hit with pine bark beetles in 2015/16 and only found out when some of my larger (50 ft+) trees were dead. I was in panic mode, researching who to consult with...Dr. Google helped guide me and I am here to tell you that Eric Putnam is the real deal. Eric knows so much about the trees, assessing the environment around them, etc. He was able to assess my tree situation, remove the ones most infested/dead, treated > 50 other pines on my property here in Friendswood to avoid losing more, and the results have been incredible. They did their work ~6 months ago and the rest of my trees are much stronger then before due to the treatment Eric sprayed to prevent further damage and actually strengthen the trees. Eric's crew was professional, careful, and efficient. They removed 4 trees that were ~50ft each and did so very carefully - impressed with their process (included stump grinding). Lastly - last week I was a little concerned seeing some of my needles turning brown, called Eric Friday and he just came out to reexamine...all normal process and he showed me where the signs of growth / health were and what I was seeing was "normal". Eric is invested in protecting the trees and I can tell you first hand that he has been very accommodating for me throughout the process (pre, during, post sale). My 1 regret [all pls listen to me] is that I did not know about him when I bought my house 3 years ago...I could have save all of my trees simply by having him treat them up front. If you are vested in your homes/property and want to make sure you get the most out of your investment - consider having Eric treat them before there is a problem. Hope this is helpful to others. I contacted Eric and Heather with Arbor Tech regarding treatment of my trees and lawn in Jun 2016 in which I signed an agreement and paid $365.00 and would be billed at 75.00 per month for treatment service. We were emailed on 8/29/16 stating that Arbor Tech will no longer offer the organic lawn Treatments. I contact Heather with Arbor Tech which stated since we just signed an agreement they would apply the amount to our trees or continue treating our lawn as long as we were not expecting an overnight result. I have tried numerous times to Contact both Heather and Eric without an response. The last time i spoke to Eric was in November which stated he would have someone over the following week which did not occur. We feel that Arbor Tech sold us a service and did not provide per our agreement.

Eric treated my very ill fruit trees in the late winter of 2017. At the time, my grapefruit tree, satsuma tree, lemon tree and key lime tree were in such bad shape that Eric was afraid they needed to be replaced. Severe attacks from leaf miners, herbicide poisoning by my lawn treatment company, and fungal issues. I was very attached to the trees, and had finally been getting good yields from the trees, so I was reluctant to replace them and start over. He suggested a treatment protocol, but was unsure whether the trees could be saved. A year later, all of the trees are back to good health. We're going to do another round of treatments to clear up some remaining minor issues, but I couldn't be happier concerning the health of all of the trees.

Arbor Tech has been working with my Queen Palms since the freeze. Eric came to do a free estimate and examine the trees that looked to me like they had been destroyed by the freeze. Eric had his crew come and spray them with with an organic substance that he hoped would stop any fungus rot that they may have been caused by the freeze. Later the trees were trimmed and resprayed. Two younger Queen Palms appeared doomed and I was about to arrange for them to be cut down. Thery had no new growth and looking like totem poles. I decided to call Eric, the expert, because he is one of two true certified arborists in the state. He decided cutting the tops to check for life in the trunks of the palms was the way to go. I agreed to this being done. This evening they cut into the two palms and discovered there was life and growth in both of those looking like totem poles. He believes there will soon be new growth with the tops removed. My advice to those dealing with issues with their palms to call Arbor Tech and have Eric take a look and let him evaluate them before having these beautiful trees cut down. He saved seven in my yard that others thought were dead. 5 have new growth and I am sure these last two will have new growth as well. It pays to deal with the true experts. Honest, reliable and reasonably priced.
