Holy wow! We traveled to Burns Oregon for business and stumbled upon one of the coolest gems ever! The Central Hotel is almost indescribable. Here is a fully restored (beautifully I need to add) historic hotel with all of the amenities needed for a lovely stay. Great restaurants nearby, and many really great local sights to visit. STAY here!

It was such a lovely surprise to find this cool hotel in Burns. The room was so nice and I love the decor! Really appreciated that we were able to charge our EV overnight. Thanks again so much! Will definitely stay there again when we drive through Burns.

Loved everything about the hotel - especially the hospitality. Heather was amazing and so welcoming to our group. Rooms were clean and quiet. Owners did a great job with this place, love the history!

This is an amazing independent hotel with a cool “speakeasy” vibe.

No check-in—you are emailed a code that gives access to exterior doors, your room, and public spaces, and the owners are a quick text away if you need anything. I even got to meet Heather a few doors down at the bar at The Palace ;food truck lot).

Rooms are all unique and well-appointed. There is a coffee bar and mini fridge in the hallway for all. Probably the best part is the decor, especially in the event spaces. The owners have put a ton of work into this place and it shows!

Walkable to restaurants, etc. and a good central hub for a lot of eastern Oregon sights.

(I stayed in July, and am hoping to stay again this coming weekend and realized I hadn’t left a review!)

5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!! Rooms are Fantastic, Building is Fantastic, the Atmosphere is Fantastic and the Staff was Fantastic! We are only sorry for the fact that we did not have enough time to enjoy the entire building/patio’s available to all their guest. We also met Heather (one of the managers) at The Palace across the street (their other location) and she was very nice to talk too. She was Very Responsive to all of our text and emails as well regarding our room. If we are ever in the area again we will Most Definitely book it again!!! THANK You Everyone at the Historic Central Hotel!

Hands down the best hotel experience I have ever had. What an atmosphere…. A lot of time and love was put into this place and it shows. Can’t wait to go back. Don’t forget to go to The Palace across the street. Equally as awesome!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jen and Forrest are amazing humans and excellent hosts. The hotel itself has sort of half bed and breakfast half hotel vibe which allows you to be private or to embed yourself into the community while here.

A beautiful job renovating this old space into some very attractive and comfortable rooms. The folks behind this hotel seem deeply dedicated to the town, and building out some very attractive tourist infrastructure. Definitely a great place to stay if you're in the area.
