My mom has been in Mariposa memory care for about 6 months, after living in both Discovery Village and Mariposa independent living communities.
The memory care facility is extremely well run. The director, Alison Liquori is just amazing. She is professional and caring with both the residents and the families. Alison has gone out of her way to get to know everything she can about my mom. She has helped us in so many ways to help acclimate my mom to her surroundings. LaWanna Barnes, the assistant manager, is wonderful. She always has a smile on her face and is always welcoming. LaWanna takes such pride in how every resident is doing. She has been such a help to me in making sure that my mom is busy and engaged and cared for. There is nothing that Alison and LaWanna won’t due to make sure that the residents are doing the best they can.
The entire staff is a joy to work with. They have eyes in back of their heads to make sure the residents are safe and cared for. My mom certainly has benefitted from their dedication. I feel like the entire team is a family working together for the benefit of all.
I know that there is no better team of caregivers for my mom.

I recently toured the Arbor. It’s an impressive community, well built and beautifully decorated. The staff is great and the residents were extraordinarily active. Very nice place.

Discover Mariposa Senior Living, led by Judi Rotenberg, is an example of poor management and unprofessional practices. It’s clear that the leadership here is more concerned with making hasty decisions than with treating employees fairly or following proper protocols. If you value respect and professionalism, I would advise looking elsewhere.

Our experience at Maraposa is beyond what we ever expected. The staff led by Judy is just wonderful. Sherry and myself are kept busy from morning to night. This is like living on a cruise ship. The food is like eating in a great restaurant every day. We have to go now I,do not want to be late for our exercise class.

The Memory Care unit of this facility has its challenges. The rooms are full now, but the staff could be improved upon. Most of the food is good and some of the activities are good. Balloon volleyball is a favorite. But lots of TV watching filling in.

We had the pleasure of Matt Hoffman showing us around and then taking us through the process of actually signing our lease agreement. He went above and beyond with his answering of our million questions, knowledge, patience, and compassion. We would highly recommend him to show you around this magnificent resort like facility. My Mom is so very excited to be a part of this establishment.

My dad and I just toured the MC facility this weekend for my aunt, who we’re moving down from NY. From my first contact with Matthew last week thru this afternoon and signing the lease, he’s been wonderful. He’s been attentive, showed us around, answered my calls/texts, answered my dads questions and made us feel welcomed. We’re looking forward to having my aunt move in and get to know the other staff. Thank you Matthew for making a very difficult decision easier for us.
